hockey season
i am a hockey fan; anyone who knows me can attest to that. so, when i got a call a couple of weeks ago from the Dallas Stars about an event they had coming up, i got very excited.

with the hockey season already underway (the NHL started earlier this week with a couple games in Europe) and my beloved Dallas Stars opening their season tomorrow, the team wanted to thank the season ticket holders. every year they do an event and this year’s was held at the American Airlines Center.
the team invited their most loyal fans to their amazing barn for a grand tour and offered professional portraits with the players to boot. fans got to experience the locker room, the penalty box, the view from ice level and the player’s bench – as a fan, i was in heaven.
as i walked around, it seemed i wasn’t alone - everyone was enjoying themselves.
because i was producing the event, i decided not to be one of the 12 photographers. however, i was able to work with 12 of the most talented photographers in the city and watching them do their thing for two hours was pretty awesome.
i’ll make sure to post a link to the website when all the images go live on Monday. if you were at the event and you had a good time, let me know.

It was an amazing time, cant wait to see how the pictures turn out.
i was at the event and i had a good time. but you know that.
we all know trey is da man.
My wife and I attended lastnight and could not have asked for a better time. Thanks to all involved for such a wonderful evening.
we appreciate you coming out and i’m super stoked that you had a great time. if you get a minute, call your ticket rep and let them know… i think they’d appreciate the feedback.
Thank you so much for doing this! I had a fantastic time even though I only got to be in two photos (the price of being a Morrow fan, haha), and was SUPER excited to see my photo among the placeholders (third from the left, bottom row… I’m in an old Morrow jersey)!!! Thanks again, and I can’t wait to see the rest! You do beautiful work!
glad you enjoyed yourself Amber; Morrow is my favorite too. and thank you for the complements – but i can’t take credit for the images this go round. i was working with some really, really talented photographer; i’ll make sure to let Scott know you love his work.
I keep hitting refresh waiting for the pictures to come up!!!
